Crowd Hydrology

This new program (2016) utilizes instream water level gauges to obtain information on fluctuations in stream levels.  These gauges have been placed at several sites within the watershed (at road/stream crossings for easy access) so that readings can be observed by anyone at the site and then texted, via cell phone, to a central database.  Directions are provided on the gauge itself.

This data can then be made available to any interested parties, be they watershed members, schools, government agencies, etc. by going to the website www.crowdhydrology.org

To obtain a listing of the sites and/or any other information on this program, please contact Dan Stock at dstock4239@charter.net
